April 21, 2020 COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to the changing response to COVID-19 by the nation, state, and local governments, we are suspending all Summer League planning until further notice. We look forward to resuming play as soon as is safe and practical.
As a community, we would appreciate your suggestions and input on the matter. Please e-mail any comments and suggestions to info@afdc.com for discussion.

NEW 2020 UPDATES:
This year, there will be a Mixed League and an Open League. The Mixed League will be playing on Tuesday nights, and the Open League will be playing on Thursday nights. To improve substitutes for women, we will be implementing stricter roster ratios. This may result in fewer roster spots for men in the Mixed league. In order to offer more opportunities to play, those that are unable to get on a core or in the draft for the Mixed League are encouraged to participate in the Open League, and anyone is allowed to participate.

- Cores Due : April 23rd
- Mixed Registration: April 29th – May 12th
- Captain’s Party/Orientation: May 14th
- Draft: May 19th
- First Week of League: Week of May 25th
- Open League – Thursdays
- Open League Registration: May 6th – May 13th
- Captain’s Party/Orientation: May 14th
- Draft: May 21st
- First Week of League: Week of May 25th
Women’s Tiered Registration
Like last year, women will have tiered registration to encourage registration and help us ensure that there are enough women for the league. Ladies, you are very important!
- Phase 1: 4/29 – 5/5, $65
- Phase 2: 5/6 – 5/12, $80

Men’s Registration
Men’s registration will begin 4/29 at noon and run through 5/5. The price will be $80. Registration typically fills up in less than a day. Men, get on a core! If you are interested in forming a core or captaining a team, information to do so will be coming soon.
AFDC will be offering an Open League as an option for participants that do not get on a Mixed team. This will be an all draft league that will run concurrently to the Mixed League and will not have tournaments. Registration for the Open league will open on May 6th after the Mixed Registration. The price for the Open League is $50.
Update your profile BEFORE registration, especially if you’re trying to get into one of the free-agent male openings. Otherwise you’ll be prompted to enter your real date of birth, for insurance purposes, and re-do your GRank before you’re allowed to register. While you’re at it, make sure the email address associated with your registration account is one you monitor regularly so you don’t miss the first emails from your team!
