As some of you know, Rich Johnston is planning to step down from his position as Summer League Commissioner after this summer, but he wants to make sure that it falls into the best hands.
We’re currently seeking to fill two co-commissioner positions – one male, one female – to help Rich this summer and to carry on in the future.
This would be an excellent opportunity to be a guiding hand in the future of Atlanta Ultimate, from parity and gender-balance concerns to finding ways to keep Summer League fun for everyone.
No experience necessary. The mundane parts of the experience will entail working on scheduling, making weather calls on event days, helping captains with cores, helping players with registration and assorted other things that pop up. The fun part will be working to set the direction and norms of the league and its culture going forward.
Each position has full commissioner benefits, including league dues.
