AFDC Grants is now accepting applications for grants ranging from $25 to $375 to help youth and college ultimate athletes attend fitness/skills camps or join leagues. Grants will be paid directly to the camp or league of each recipient’s choice and will be applied to admission/membership fees.

Deadlines
– Application deadline is April 25, 2014
– Applicants to be notified by email by May 2, 2014
Guidelines and eligibility
– Must be a Georgia resident or attending a Georgia school or university
– Must use grant for an approved fitness/skills camp or league
Criteria to be considered
– Financial need
– Passion for ultimate / service to community
– Athletic talent and potential
Application materials
– Letter of recommendation from an adult non-relative (teacher, school administrator, coach, employer, etc.) emailed directly to AFDCGrants@gmail.com, explaining why the applicant is worthy of a grant based on the criteria above
– Online questionnaire to be completed by applicant
