Its time for our annual elections.
Board of Director’s Election
Three Directors’ terms will expire on October 1, 2012. Those Directors are:
- Christopher E. Church, currently serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors
- Brian Lynch, currently serving as Ultimate Director of the Board of Directors
- Christina Schmidt, currently serving as Goaltimate Director of the Board of Directors
Each candidate has been nominated and will run for re-election to the same position.
Nonetheless, pursuant to Article IV, Section 4 of the AFDC Bylaws, any current member* of the AFDC is invited to run for any one of the three positions.
To nominate a member to this position (self-nominations are okay), e-mail Christopher Church with your name by September 1, 2012. Upon confirmation of eligibility, the Board of Directors, Elections Committee, and general AFDC membership will consider your name in an election to be held in September – time and location to be announced.
* Article V, Section 1 defines Members as any person who has paid dues for (or has participated in, but had such dues waived): an AFDC league during the current calendar year; or an AFDC league during the immediate preceding calendar year.
