Women's Team at Georgia State

Hello All,

GSU has grown tremendously in the past few years and it's finally to the going where we need to have a Women's team. We had 5 women on the Open team who didn't get a whole lot of playing time because they had to play in a competitive open division. I would really like to get the word out about a women's team at GSU next year.

Like I said, we have a few women, but really don't have the leadership role nailed down. We are looking for anyone who would be interested in helping develop and grow a new women's team (which will definitely lead to a few more ladies in the league).

The first part of the Fall season is really going to be crucial to get women and keep their interest, so we would like to find a coach as quickly as possible. We plan to make recruiting new women a top priority for next year, as I would really love to get our girls plenty of playing time, and not have them stuck on a men's team.

I would really like to find an experienced player to coach and develop our girls. Also any women who are students at GSU (eligible or not) should definitely come out to play. There will be more info coming, but for now shoot me an email if you are interested in helping!
