wet fields today????

please remember, CoA has now said we are not allowed on the field if it wet... regardless if it drains well or not.

is anyone around to check for today???

Valentine's Day games are on.

Meg asked me to check the fields this morning. Unless we have a downpour between now and game time, the Grant Park fields are fine.

Yes Mark, by our own policies the fields are fine, but the problem is the city's policy. If the fields are wet at all, no one is to be playing on any of them. And the fields are a bit wet today.

I hate to be overly picky, but we've been asked to leave those fields once in the last couple of weeks, and to keep going out there when we've been told not to jeopardizes our ability to continue using them.

It sucks, but no play today.
