Walker Fields - Neighbor Complaint

Hey guys -
While we were out at Walker for goalty last night, one of the neighbors (carrying a baseball bat) made a comment to Marcus regarding the state of the fields after people were done playing on them noting there were "banana peels and trash all over". It obviously isn't specifically directed toward goalty since it was our first night and I know we aren't the only one that uses the fields, but please make an effort to pick up the trash around you to leave the fields in, dare I say, better shape than what we found them.

There is a high probability that it is other groups that are doing this - but please do your part to ensure we leave the fields in a shape where the neighbors don't get angry.

I was going to to a quick sweep of the fields after were were done, but the lightning scared me off.

It should be noted that while this guy won't be in my top ten list of favorite people I have met, and he wasn't exactly non-confrontational with his language, he wasn't aggressive with the bat. He had just returned home and was probably just carrying it to his house and stopped by to confront me since I was there. That being said, I surely wasn't going to say anything to him but, "Yes, whatever you say."

It probably isn't entirely us, but I am pretty sure we can do better, even if it is picking up after other groups. I think quite a bit of the AFDC community, we are pretty decent stewards of our community.
