Six Pack 2012 Tryouts

Club season approaches. Six Pack is an Athens, Atlanta, and South Carolina-based open club team in its third season. We will attend 3-4 tournaments in addition to the Series, and we may set aside additional dates for practice. Because there are relatively few commitments, we expect our players to make this team a priority, in their effort and attendance. Last year, we made the most of our relatively low time and financial commitment, going late into Sunday at Regionals. This year, we hope to build on that strong base and take the next step as a team, while maintaining our identity as spirited and informal, yet always competitive.

Our roster will consist of the 27 players that we feel will best flourish within this team philosophy. While it’s important to set a roster early, we want to give all interested players a chance to demonstrate their abilities. Therefore, we’ll have both a tryout tournament and a one-day weekend tryout. Monkey Bowl will be June 2 and 3 in Nashville, TN, and we will bring two teams in order to give everyone ample playing opportunity. We would like everyone to attend all three tryout days, as we will give them all equal weight. That said, if a specific, legitimate conflict prevents you from attending one or more days, contact us, and we will address issues on a case-by-case basis.
