Southern Revival--UPDATED TRYOUT INFO

Sure, it may bear some resemblance to "Rival" or "Mixtape," but don't be fooled. This is a whole new beast. We are excited to announce the formation of a new, competitive Atlanta club team--Southern Revival. We've got Nationals in our sights and fun on our agenda. We will travel some, practice some, and kill other teams and then eat their brains. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in doing, if you like awesome things, if you would like to match up against some of the best Atlanta has to offer, we invite you to come to our open tryouts weekend on June 2-3, fields TBD.

Some details if you are interested: we'll have two mandatory practices, one leading up to Terminus and one just before Regionals. Other than that we will be having weekly optional team workouts/drilling practices. We will be traveling to at least one out-of-region tournament and hitting up some regional ones as well. We are looking to keep costs low but be prepared to shell out the dough for one of the best jerseys of all time.

We wanted to update everyone with some additional details and important changes.

Southern Revival will be hosting a single day of open tryouts to take place on Sunday, June 3rd in Atlanta.
When: 9am until approximately 1pm
Where: an in-town field site, to be finalized
Format: combination of skills/drills and scrimmaging
What to bring: light/dark jersey, cleats, and plenty of water/snacks

Following these tryouts, invitations will be extended for a second closed tryout to take place the weekend of June 16/17.

Finally, to give you a taste of what our schedule will look like this season, see below:
